The instax mini Evo Cinema , a video-capable instax camera, will be released on January 30, 2026. By printing a QR code that allows users to access the video and a scene from the video onto the instax film, users will be able to hand over the video they have taken to others.

The Instax Mini Evo Cinema looks like this: It has a handle at the bottom of the body, and is held vertically like an 8mm film camera.

You can shoot while checking the preview on the rear monitor.

By attaching the included viewfinder attachment, you can take immersive photos while looking through the viewfinder.

You can print a scene from the video and a QR code that allows you to access the video onto your Instax film.

The system works by scanning the QR code with a smartphone or other device to play the video.

The side of the watch is equipped with an effect-switching dial called the 'Zidial.' The effects available include '1980,' inspired by 35mm color negative film, and '2010,' inspired by smartphone photo editing apps, allowing you to recreate distinctive techniques from each era.

The effect intensity can be adjusted using the 'intensity adjustment dial' attached around the lens.

The intensity of the 10 different effects can be adjusted in 10 steps, allowing you to enjoy a total of 100 different effects.

Of course, it also supports taking photos, and you can edit videos and add text using the dedicated app.

The instax mini Evo Cinema is scheduled to be released on January 30, 2026, with an open price.
