According to gaming media outlet Insider Gaming, Ubisoft has announced further layoffs through its internal communication channels.

The announcement was as follows:

'Over the past few months, Ubisoft has been undergoing organizational transformation to simplify operations, reduce costs, and strengthen the company in the long term. These decisions also reflect an adjustment in our activity levels following a recent portfolio review.'

As part of this initiative, we made the following announcements today regarding the team and our work.

The production department made the difficult decision to close its studios in Winnipeg and Belgrade. Furthermore, subject to discussions with employee representatives, we have begun negotiations on a restructuring plan for the Barcelona studio to focus its efforts on Rainbow Six.

Across our global publishing organization, we are also making changes to adjust our team structure and deployment methods while maintaining a strong presence in key markets.

Depending on the outcome of the discussions, these decisions could affect up to 380 employees.

These changes do not reflect the talent, dedication, or contributions of those affected.

Local management is in direct contact with employees, providing information, answering questions, and ensuring appropriate support throughout the entire process.
