'J-SteamDB by Kenbo' is a database of Steam games for Japanese users.

A new website called ' J-SteamDB by Kenbo ' has been launched, allowing you to search for only those games that are 'available in Japanese' from the many Steam games available. It offers a wide range of filtering options, including the number of reviews, popularity rating, price, and whether or not a trial version is available.

A must-see for indie game lovers! I created a Japanese-specific Steam database - YouTube

J-SteamDB by Kenbo looks like this. It retrieves games from Steam and displays them by default in order of release date. It also displays the game's description, tags, genre, price, and more, and clicking on a game will take you to the Steam store page.

You can use various filtering functions in the settings column on the left. One of its features is the 'Japanese only' filter. Turn this on and click 'Apply filter.'

This will allow you to see only games that support Japanese.

If the store description is in Japanese, it will be displayed in Japanese, but if it is not, it will display the main language, so occasionally there are titles that are displayed in languages other than Japanese.

When I clicked on the title above to access the store page, I found that the 'interface' was available in Japanese.

You can also filter by 'release date' to see games released in the last 30 days or on a specific date. This is also useful when you want to know what games were released today. Updates are usually twice a day for one week before and after release, once a day for one month after release, and once a week thereafter. Sales information, etc., may not always be up-to-date.

Other filters include the number of reviews, positive reviews, and rating status such as 'Overwhelmingly Positive.'

Price range

Genre, user-defined tags

There are options such as adult content and whether or not there is a trial version.

There is also an 'Analytics' function that displays various statistics.

By clicking on the bars in the graph, you can narrow down the displayed content and investigate things like 'What are the price ranges and popularity ratings of games with over 10,000 reviews?'

It's very convenient to be able to see things like 'a list of free games with many reviews.'

There is also a 'quiz' feature where you can guess the game title from the description based on the currently selected filter.

If you reset all filters, the total number of titles displayed is 157,391, but SteamDB , a well-known unofficial Steam statistics site, shows 254,296, so there seems to be some difference in the method of retrieval. Even if you limit it to Japanese only, there is a difference of about 30,000 titles.
