This Sanpei doll from 'Tsurikichi Sanpei' has sparkling eyes and an innocent smile! Even Uoshin at the WF2026 [Winter] venue was convinced of its quality.

Tsurikichi Sanpei ,' a monumental fishing manga, was on display at the world's largest three-dimensional event , 'Wonder Festival 2026 [Winter], ' so I went to see it for myself.



The Sanpei doll was at Yoshihina's booth, 'Hinamori (booth number 4-23-12).' Yoshihina's Sanpei and Uoshin figures were also selected for the 43rd Wonder Showcase in Winter 2024.



It had been snowing since the morning around the venue, Makuhari Messe, and it was a very cold day. So, a scarf was wrapped around the neck. The figure is 23cm tall, so clothes from

the Obitsu Body 23 would likely fit it.



The figure is made from a 3D printer and a resin cast. Yoshihina painted and applied the makeup to the exhibit. It has sparkling eyes and a cute, slightly upturned mouth. Sanpei's trademark straw hat can also be attached by changing the hair, which is held in place with a magnet.



This ball-jointed doll can be posed using elastic bands and has interchangeable limbs.



The rice ball has a small magnet built in, and if you replace it with a hand part that also has a magnet embedded in it, you can have Sanpei hold the rice ball as shown below.



The rice ball bento includes sesame and seaweed rice balls, and smoked daikon radish. It's quite small because it's scaled to fit a 23cm doll, but the paint on the smoked daikon radish is very realistic and looks incredibly delicious.



In addition to the rice ball bento, there was also a fish basket and interchangeable face parts. The 'Sanpei-kun Doll! Basic Set' was also available as an unassembled and unpainted kit for 30,000 yen, but it was already sold out when I visited the booth.



Yoshihina's booth also had a 1/9 scale assembly kit of 'Omaneko-kun Sailor Swimsuit Ver.' on display. It was priced at 20,000 yen. Although the armpits and waist are quite sexy, Omaneko-kun is a male.



And then there's the non-scale assembly kit of Kojiro from 'The Young Master Who Ran Away.' It was priced at 18,000 yen. This one is also sexy, with a glimpse of his armpits and long, slender legs.
