Yuraku Confectionery 'Milk Mania' Tasting Review: A light, crispy texture with a rich milk chocolate flavor

Yuraku Confectionery, known for 'Black Thunder,' combined its manufacturing technology and ingredient combination know-how to launch ' Milk Mania ,'

a limited-time product released in June 2025. However, due to its popularity, it will be sold year-round from January 2026. I tried it again ahead of its release.

The individual packaging looks like this, and just like

the limited-time release , it has a cow's face design.

The ingredients include processed oils and fats, wheat flour, semi-chocolate, etc., and milk-flavored granules made from lactose and sugar are also used.

One stick weighs 24g and contains 139kcal.

When you take it out of the bag and place it next to the regular 'Black Thunder' (right), the difference in color is obvious.

When you cut it open, you can see that the insides are quite different. Black Thunder has a distinctive crunchy texture, while Milk Mania has a lighter, more crunchy texture. Also, the chocolate flavor of Black Thunder is sweet and bitter, while Milk Mania is generally richer and sweeter, making it perfect for pairing with strong milk tea.

'Milk Mania' will be released on Monday, January 26, 2026, and the price is 86 yen including tax. Amazon is currently accepting reservations for 20 bottles for 1,652 yen including tax (83 yen per bottle).
