This video, taken by a webcam installed in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, shows lava erupting from Kilauea volcano at 10:22:37 on December 6, 2025.

Lava rising from the surface

Lava eruption began around 8:45 a.m. on the 6th near the summit crater.

After that, the scale of the lava eruption gradually increased, and within about an hour, lava was spewing from three craters.

At approximately 9:45, the nature of the eruption suddenly changed.

It seems that eruptions such as lava rose up to 1,000 feet (about 300 meters) in the sky.

The lava erupting from the crater extended southward, destroying one of the webcams installed to monitor volcanic activity.

The last image captured by the destroyed webcam is below. The webcam was installed in a restricted area.

In addition, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) has installed a webcam at the Halemaumau crater of Kilauea Volcano, which is broadcasting live footage of the volcano.
