The development team behind the free email app 'Thunderbird' is currently developing an iOS version of Thunderbird. On October 28, 2025, a screenshot showing what the iOS version of Thunderbird will look like was released.

The development team released the following screenshots. While there are no explanations for each image, the following appears to be the initial launch screen.

Thunderbird for iOS is in the early stages of development, with an alpha version expected to be released in the next few months.
