'(Un)Archived V' specializes in preserving VTuber singing videos that cannot be archived due to copyright issues.

VTubers and streamers often broadcast 'singing covers' on YouTube and Twitch, but due to copyright issues, they are not archived, and if you miss the opportunity to watch them in real time, you may not be able to see them. Developer Jason Yang has reported that he has developed ' (Un)ArchivedV ,' which aims to preserve VTuber singing broadcasts, which are often not archived due to copyright issues.

(Un)ArchivedV runs on Linux and is built using a Docker image. The (Un)ArchivedV configuration screen looks like this: (Un)ArchivedV automatically checks for live broadcasts started on subscribed channels and downloads videos that match a specified keyword list.

Archived videos can be managed by channel and keyword via a web interface accessible on localhost. Below is an example of the (Un)ArchivedV web interface published by Yang. Folders are created with the streamer's name.

If the title of the video contains the keyword 'UNARCHIVED,' it will be automatically saved. You can also set it to send you a push notification when the download is complete.

Saved videos can be played in a web browser.
