Tasting review of 'Mitsuya Fruit and Vegetable Sparkling' which uses vegetable juice for the first time at Mitsuya
As a commemorative product for the 140th anniversary of the birth of the 'Mitsuya' brand, ' Mitsuya Fruit and Vegetable Sparkling ', which is the first to use vegetable juice, was released on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, so I bought it and tried it.

The packaging for 'Mitsuya Fruit and Vegetable Sparkling' looks like this, a slightly slim plastic bottle with a capacity of 430ml.
Vegetables and fruits are lined up on either side of the three arrows on the label.
The vegetable and fruit juice content is 30%. It contains apple, peach, orange, carrot, tomato, and purple cabbage.
It contains 41 kcal per 100 ml, so one bottle contains 176.3 kcal. It contains 430 μg to 1370 μg of β-carotene.
There will be a little sediment at the bottom of the plastic bottle, so as instructed, 'It will taste better if you turn it upside down slowly,' mix it without shaking by turning it upside down slowly.
It looks like this when poured into a glass. Although the carbonation itself is not strong, it gives the impression of having a lot of fine bubbles, and the fizzy sensation when you put it in your mouth is quite strong. As for the taste, at first sip it seems like carrot juice due to the orange color, but as you drink it, it starts to taste more like tomato juice or orange juice. It is said to use Kagome's tomato juice, but it seems like it would taste like Kagome's vegetable juice 'Vegetable Life' if it was carbonated without diluting it. It has no bitterness and is very easy to drink.
