According to this release, the 2.5-inch SSD "Core Series" for laptop computers will be released from OCZ. The Core Series has models of 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, and the price is 169 dollars (about 18,000 yen), 259 dollars (about 27 thousand yen), 479 dollars (about 51 thousand yen) .

The concerned transfer speed is 120 to 143 MB / sec for reading, 80 to 93 MB / sec for writing, MTBF (mean time to failure) is 1.5 million hours. Two years warranty comes with that. The timing to be released in Japan is undecided, but it is very reasonable.
